When can I move in?

When a self storage space appropriate to your needs becomes available, we’ll allow you to move in anytime, 24 hours a day. You’ll be given a specific gate code, allowing you to enter the property, so there’s no need to wait for our office to be open!

 

How much notice do I need to give before I move out?

We require a written notice 30 days in advance of your planned move-out.

 

What type of documentation will I need to provide in order to rent a space with Aiken Self Storage?

We require a Government issued ID, for example, your state driver’s license, state ID, or a passport. It’s that simple!

 

Will I be required to sign a long term lease?

Not at all! We rent on a month-to-month basis unless the customer requests otherwise. This makes it easy to pay for the time you’ll use the unit, and no more.

 

How do I enter the property after hours?

At the time of signing you will be given your own security pass code, allowing you access to your unit at any time, whether we are on the property or not. We want to provide freedom to our tenants, and these features allow you to get to your unit on your own time.

 

How do I pay my bill?

We have lots of options! You can pay in person by speaking with an employee, onsite at the 24-hour kiosk, mail a check or money order to our office, or make a payment online through our website. You can also sign up to have payments automatically deducted from your credit card account or your savings or checking account monthly.

 

What forms of payment does Aiken Self Storage accept?

We accept just about any form of payment, from checks and money orders to major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Speak with our manager for more information!

 

How much space do I need to complete my project?

We’re glad you asked. Fortunately, our team has years of experience helping tenants just like you get the best space for their project. After answering just a few questions, they’ll be able to give you an accurate estimate of the space you’ll need. If you’re at home, just hop on our website and use the self storage calculator there. It’s quick and easy!

 

Will I need to provide my own lock?

Yes. Our facility does not provide a lock with your rental; however, we do recommend that you purchase a disc style lock from our office for the best possible security.

 

Are there are any items that I’m prohibited from storing?

Great question. Any liquids, explosives, flammable materials, toxic materials, and perishables are strictly prohibited from our units. Please contact our manager if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

 

What are your office hours?

We’re here to serve you six days a week! Unlike some of the bigger, corporate self storage facilities who only offer office hours between Monday and Friday, we’re here on Saturdays as well, allowing us to provide you with the best customer service around. Come see us between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Also, check out our 24-hour kiosk for service at any time of the day or week.

 

What are your access hours?

When you rent with Aiken Self Storage facility, you can enjoy the convenience of 24-hour access to your unit! Now you don’t have to work around our schedule, but instead you can plan your move on your own time.

 

How do I use the 24-hour kiosk?

Our 24-hour kiosk allows you to reserve, rent, pay your bill, and move into your unit at any time of the day. Simply walk up and follow the instructions on the screen. Give us a call if you have any questions.
